Collecting tiny Wooden Dollhouse furniture revolves around creating real looking room setting in small scale versions. It isn't necessary to decide at the outset just how far you want to go in assembling your dollhouse collection. Start at a level comfortable to your pocketbook, and upgrade your collection as your means allow and your growing appreciation dictates.

Where can I find an old fashion dollhouse?
I'm looking for an old fashion antique doll.(Furniture and dolls DO NOT have to be included). It's needs to look realistic or in other words a shrunken old fashioned house back from the 1930-1950s. And its needs to be cheap but it can be worth "money" I guess you could say. I mean it can be a little expensive but I've been on e-bay looking for some and I'm NOT paying $500+ for an empty(or fully furnished) doll house. Please help! It needs to include AT LEAST 5 rooms:
Bedroom
Bathroom
Dinning room
Kitchen
A den area ( like chairs and couches for company)

The first place I would look would be an antique store. Many of them will have an antique toy section. Also another sugestion would be to watch in your local Godwill stores or Salvation Army Stores. Many times you can find old toys in them. I would also check out your areas Free Cycle and post a wanted to it. It is surprising just how many times you will find just what you want there and at Freecycle you pay nothing for what is given.
