The angle of a roof on Wendy's dollhouse is 56 degrees. She built a scale model of the dollhouse with a ratio of 1:4. What is the angle of the roof of the model she built?
They say the answer is 34 degrees but how?
Are you sure the answer isn't 14? It could just be a typo in the book or whatever you're using.
The site I put in the source section is always helpful when I need to figure out ratios...just put your known base ratio (here, 1:4) in the left two spaces, and the 56 in the lower right space. It shows that the answer is 14 (which is what I came up with when I calculated it.).
