About the Author http://bigshopblog.com.au/ We recently bought a 3-month old Havanese/Lhasa Apso puppy for my 7-year old to raise and love. This puppy is a doll, but has only bonded with me! I work evenings and stay home with puppy during the day. When I leave for work, my husband and daughter are home and ready to play with puppy. However, after I leave the house, she retreats to our bedroom and sleeps until I return home. She will only go out to potty, when my husband physically picks her up and places her on the lawn....then she runs back in the house and retreats back to the bedroom. The only time the puppy will play or hang out with my husband and daughter, is when I am nearby. She is obsessed with me and even whines when I close the bathroom door!!! I love her dearly, but feel badly that my daughter gets upset when she doesn't want to come to her or allow her to hold her. What can I do to help? Serious answers only please.
get everyone in the family involved with training her, especially your daughter. are you the one who always feeds her? if so, hold off on giving her dinner when you leave for work. instead, have your daughter give her dinner after a training session. she's still really young, so the training should only last for 5 minutes or so. have you daughter get some really yummy treats and work with her on things like sit, down, stay etc. she'll focus because she'll be hungry. then after she can have her dinner. if she doesn't know any commands yet, work on watch me. have your daughter call the puppies name, and when she makes eye contact say "yes!" and give her treats and praise. do this when she comes when called also. since you spend the day with the pup, she probably gets lots of treats and love from you. make her think everyone is the family is a source of these good things too and she'll be just as attached to them.Video About Dolls House Bedroom
