Building an Online Doll House

The types of dollhouses people settle for are determined by several factors some of them being time, size and money. The expense is determined by the size and complexity of the house as well as the quality of products they choose to use. People should determine how they would use the dollhouse. It can be used as a playhouse for the amusement of their children or even as a display for their miniatures. This helps people decide on how to build it and what materials to use. The next thing to consider is the scale to use. Many miniatures are built on a scale of 1/12 scale, which adds up to an inch per foot.

This scale is mostly used hence there are many accessories and furnishings readily available in this size. However, if you are building a bigger dollhouse, you will have to source for bigger measurements. One will then have to settle on the shape and size of the house. The easiest house to build is one-story with a one-room cottage. There are other more elaborate choices for other possible houses. Examples are houses that range from Venetian palazzo to a Victorian drippings. People are advised to start simply with what they know and are comfortable with not unless they are experienced carpenters. The walls of the dollhouse should be completely straight and they should have a perfect 90-degree angle at the corners.

People need materials such as paint, sanding equipments, dollhouse kit and supplies, electrical wiring as well as dollhouse furniture. Get a paper, ruler, and pencil and draw a pattern. A simple cottage requires a minimum of about six pieces for the three walls, base and the fourth is left open for play and display. The other two become roof pieces. One is required to mark holes for doors and windows taking minding the scale. People should then buy wood of 3/4-inches. Plywood is most commendable as it produces a solid base, which holds the house firmly as more weight is mounted on it. The 3/8-inches wood comes out well for the roof and walls. People should then use their patterns to mark the wood.

The wood should then be sliced and this is done by use of hand. A circular saw is ideal as it cuts on effort and time used. Then cut out the doors and windows by use of hands. Using an electric drill is easier for holes in corners. At this stage, one is supposed to make the edges smooth using the sanding equipments. It is now time to put the walls and the base together using nails and glue. The same should be done to the roof. Sanding is done again over the nails to clear any traces of roughness. One is supposed to thoroughly inspect the dollhouse now for any imperfections and correct them. The dollhouse is now complete and one can paint it if they so desire. The furniture is then arranged in the house neatly and the result is really worth the effort.

HELP!!my dog keeps jumping on the door and my mom gets all mad!?

I have a miniature doberman(mini pinscher)and she is outside in the backyard we can't keep her inside because she isn't potty trained and she won't learn to do so ...so don't tell me to get her inside the house please.Because the door from inside the house to the backyard is all glass, each time she sees me she starts to jump and jump and she has this long nails (and we can't cut them because thats her only defence)so each time she jumps on the door it makes this ugly sound so my mom gets all mad.And we can't put a cortains or anything to cover it becuase she can detect us with her nose-_-.So do you know anything that i can i don't know spred on the door so she will not come close or it will hurt her when she jumps (which it is sad)or anything.... my mom is getting mad so she just ties the poor doggie outside all day so she won't come near which i don't like .PLEASE HELP!!!!!thank you
