where should I file complaint against an online business?
I've been selling Re-Ment miniatures (Japanese miniature toys) at Etsy.com since 2008. Recently they suspended all my listings (without any prior notification) because they said their rule has changed and no longer allow selling Re-Ment on their site.
I paid for the listing fee (contract) and if they no longer allow selling Re-Ment, should they just let my listing ends and not allow renewal?
I tried to contact them for a proper response but all I got is standard response saying the products I'm selling no longer allowed. I filed complains to BBB but I guess this agency doesn't really do anything. I tried to look for other government dept to file complaint but unable to locate one. I'm not the only victim there. There's another sell lost $400+ worth of listing fee because of this rule change. However, there are still *many* sellers continue selling the exact same product on Etsy. How fair is that!
Anyone knows where I should go file a more legal complaint? Thanks in advance!
Looks like Etsy changed their rule recently. Quoted from their support eMail in March 2010:
Etsy has refined our rules on commercial supplies and Re-Ments do not meet our selling criteria
No way you can win big corp. They do whatever they want. They said you break their rule, so be it.
